A day in the life of a Soumya mover
From the first strip of tape to the final handover, here's how our crew spends moving day.
Professional packing
The crew arrives in uniform, lays down floor protection and walks through each room with you. Fragile items are foam-wrapped first, then clothes, books and kitchen items go into labelled cartons sealed with Soumya tape.
Safe loading
Sofas and mattresses are stretch-wrapped. Heavy furniture goes in first against the front wall, cartons fill the middle, and fragile boxes go in last near the door. Everything is strapped.
In transit
The closed truck leaves on the planned route. You can ring the crew lead on the same number any time to ask where your goods are.
Unloading at destination
Every carton goes straight to the room written on its label. Beds and wardrobes are reassembled, and furniture is placed where you point.
Happy delivery
We walk through with you and check items off. If you booked unpacking, we fill your cupboards, then clear every bit of packing waste before we leave.

Our foam is cut to fit your items, keeping them stable and scratch-free.

Wrap each item individually
Foam sheets plus bubble wrap add an extra layer for delicate items.
- Wrap stems and handles first, then the body.
- Tape the wrap to itself, never to the item.
Pack in a sturdy box
Choose double-walled boxes and fill empty spaces with foam or cushioning.
- Line the base with crumpled paper or foam.
- Shake the sealed box gently. If you hear movement, add more filling.
Keep it upright & label it
Pack glassware and vases upright and mark the box "Fragile".
